Play Brawl Stars With a VPN

Generally, yes. Supercell’s Terms of Service don’t call out VPNs by name, but they do say you can’t use cheats, hacks, mods, or any unauthorized third-party software that modifies or interferes with the game, and you can’t do anything that disrupts the service (including denial-of-service attacks). So, using a VPN for privacy or safer Wi-Fi is okay, but using anything that messes with gameplay or breaks their rules is where you get into trouble.

Mostly, Brawl Stars matches you on the best or closest server region for stable games, but you can play with friends in other regions. Supercell’s own support says that if you’re playing with friends outside your global region, matchmaking may switch you to the next-best server to make the match work.

Yes, they do. They don’t explicitly ban VPNs in their Terms of Service. What Supercell clearly bans is using third-party tools that interfere with gameplay (cheats, mods, bots, etc.) and any activity that disrupts the service. So if you’re using a VPN for privacy, you’re not automatically violating any rules, but if you use it as part of cheating, abuse, or breaking other rules, Supercell can take action under the Terms.

In most countries, VPNs are legal and common. The exceptions are countries where VPN use is banned or heavily restricted, and that’s a local law issue, not a gaming issue.
